Rafael Nadal seems to have started his domination era over the World of tennis. He has steadily gained ground against Federer and pushed him from the top spot of the ATP rankings. Everything reached the climax in January at the Australian Open 2009. Rafa grabbed the first Grand Slam of the year defeating Roger Federer on hard court too. This was the only surface where the 27-year-old former Number 1 was still having a supremacy against the Spaniard. More, Federer couldn’t control his nerves and burst into tears during the prize award ceremony.
